About NABC
North American Bioproducts Corporation (NABC) produces quality fermentation products for fuel, beverage and industrial alcohol producers. Headquartered in Metro Atlanta, GA, NABC markets products in over ten countries with emphasis on the United States and Canadian Fuel Ethanol Producer.
Innovation through collaboration is important to NABC's philosophy. Testing new strains of yeast, antimicrobials and yeast nutrients to improve fermentation and yields to the ethanol producer is ongoing. An extensive repository of industry specific bacterial isolates relevant to the ethanol industry is maintained and utilized in the development of exceptionally effective antimicrobials.

Quality Fermentation Products
High Temperature Industrial Yeast
Bio-Ferm is NABC's new generation high performance yeast product optimally suited for the production of fuel,
beverage and industrial alcohol. Bio-Ferm is a uniquely produced proprietary strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae developed for its excellent fermentation characteristics. Aggressive, fast-starting yeast reduces the likelihood of yield loss due to bacterial contamination. Bio-Ferm demonstrates exceptional fermentation characteristics in terms of its ability to tolerate high temperatures, high solids (osmotic stress) and higher alcohols (ethanol toxicity).
Antimicrobials
Loss of yield due to bacterial contamination is a problem in many facilities that significantly impacts ethanol yield. Even minor levels of bacteria may cause unsuitable conditions for yeast fermentation and enzymatic starch conversion. This condition may cause the fermentation to fail to reach a suitable end point which corresponds to loss of alcohol. NABC offers a variety of antimicrobial products in every price range for the control of bacterial contamination. NABC antimicrobials are packaged in 2 oz, 8 oz and 16 oz water soluble bags. Custom packaging is available upon request.
